Who is a registered Builder?
A registered Builder is a professional trained and certified
in building production management, registered by the Council of Registered
Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Building
(NIOB). Builders are responsible for translating designs into safe, quality
physical structures on site.
How do I become a registered Builder?
Obtain a recognised qualification in Building (degree, HND/ND
or approved equivalent), gain supervised professional practice, join NIOB at
the appropriate cadre, and pass the professional examination / interview where

What is CORBON?
CORBON — the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria — is
the statutory body that regulates the training and practice of Builders in
Nigeria, established under the Builders (Registration, etc.) Decree No. 45 of 1989.
What is the difference between annual dues and the Builders House fee?
Annual dues are paid every year to keep your membership
active. The Builders House fee is a one-off
levy per cadre toward the chapter's Builders House. They are separate payments.
